UL is coming off of a loss to Alabama this past Sunday. The Cajuns faced LSU Thursday night to begin the weekend. The Cajuns fell to LSU 4-0.

The Cajuns managed to only get 3 hits and 1 error compared to LSU's 5 hits and 2 errors. The Cajuns used Sam Landry, Kandra Lamb, and Meghan Schorman as their pitchers Thursday night. Landry managed to get 3 strikeouts and Schorman got 6. Compared to LSU's Shelbi Sunseri who got 3 strikeouts and 3 hits.

The Cajuns just couldn't convert those hits into runs. UL now moves to 10-3 for the season. The Cajuns will be back on the diamond Friday as they have a doubleheader beginning at 2:30 pm. They begin the day with Central Connecticut State and the second matchup is against Louisiana Tech.
