The New Orleans Hornets put together a 13-0 run late in the 4th quarter to take the lead, but Derrick Rose hit a key shot and two free throws to lift the Chicago Bulls past the Hornets 99-95.

Rose, NBA All-Star and reigning MVP, scored 32 points while playing a whopping 41 minutes. Fellow Bulls All-Star Luol Deng clocked 42 minutes and finished with a double-double (14 pts, 11 rebs). If either player was tired after All-star weekend, they didn't show it.

Chris Kaman led the Hornets in scoring with 17, finishing with a double-double by pulling down 11 boards. Trevor Ariza scored 16 points for New Orleans. Kaman and Ariza were two of 6 players to reach double-figures for the fleur-de-bees. Monty Williams' squad played well Tuesday night, just not well enough to beat one of the NBA's best teams on their home floor.

The Hornets will finally return home to New Orleans tonight for a matchup with the Toronto Raptors. They haven't played at the Hive since February 13th. Hopefully some home cooking can lead the Hornets to a win in front of the home fans. Tip-off is set for 7:00.
