Cajuns Ranked #16 by USA Today

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are ranked #16 in the USA Today preseason college baseball poll as voted on by a panel of coaches.

It's the fifth preseason top 20 ranking for the Cajuns after being ranked #14 by Collegiate Baseball and #13 by Baseball America, Perfect Game and D1Baseball.

LSU is ranked #3 in the poll, while National Champion Coastal Carolina is ranked ninth.

Cajuns' opponents receiving votes in the poll include Houston, Texas, Sam Houston State, Tulane and Southeastern Louisiana.

The Cajuns open the season at Southeastern on Friday, February 17th.
