The #21 Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball team is coming off a busy Mardi Gras weekend where they played six games in four days.

They went 4-2 in those games. The pair of defeats came via the mercy rule to #2 Alabama.

Head coach Gerry Glasco typically joins me on my morning radio show every Monday, but due to the Mardi Gras holiday, it got delayed until today.

Coach Glasco shared his feelings on the team's 10-2 start, the two losses to Alabama, what comes next, where the team needs to improve, how they can reach their potential, preparing for LSU, the health of catcher Sophie Piskos, and more.

If you missed it, you can listen here.

#21 Louisiana (10-2) hosts #22 LSU (12-5) Thursday evening with a 6:00  first pitched scheduled for Yvette Girourard Field at Lamson Park.
