The New Orleans Saints are already locked into no worse than the third seed in the NFC for the playoffs. The team would love to improve that, however, and that journey starts tonight on Monday Night Football.

Kickoff for tonight's contest is set for 7:15 pm.

In addition to playoff seeding, another storyline to watch for tonight is Drew Brees' quest to break Peyton Manning's career touchdowns passing record of 539 touchdowns

New England's Tom Brady is sitting at 538 while Brees is at 537, so the record will likely be broken by both QBs this season.

Back to the game. The Saints (10-3) need a win to stay up to speed with Green Bay, Seattle and San Francisco, who are all 11-3.

Green Bay is currently the top seed while Seattle is second. San Francisco would be the top wild card team.
