Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns' quarterback Jordan Davis has been honored by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association as its offensive Player of the Week.

Making only his second career start, Davis passed for 308 yards and rushed for 60 more and accounted for four touchdowns, two through the air and two on the ground. He completed 21-33 passes and his yardage was the first 300 yard passing game for the Cajuns in nearly four years, when Terrance Broadway accomplished the feat against Texas State (Oct.5,2013, 336 yards.)

Nicholls State's Alvin Pittman was the defensive POW, while LSU's D. J. Chark won the special teams award.
