The New Orleans Pelicans have traded Anthony Davis and they've traded him to the team he was hoping to go to when he demanded a trade last season, the Los Angeles Lakers. This will immediately pair LeBron James with another superstar player which is what they needed to do because not many think a major free agent is going to sign with the Lakers.

The Pelicans and David Griffin got a haul in return including players and multiple draft picks. The players they acquired in the deal are point guard Lonzo Ball, forward Brandon Ingram, and guard Josh Hart. As far as draft picks go they've received the 2019 number four overall pick and two other future first round picks which includes a potential pick swap which could make the deal even sweeter for New Orleans.

Since the trade has been announced there is also talk of the Pelicans possibly looking to deal the 4th overall pick in the 2019 draft according to reports:

There are a ton of options still on the table for David Griffin before the 2019 NBA Draft which gets underway on Thursday.
