Ragin’ Cajun Forward Jalen Johnson Named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week

Louisiana Ragin' Cajun junior forward Jalen Johnson scored a career-high 27 points in Saturday's win over ULM, adding 7 boards, 3 blocks, 2 assists and 2 steals to his stat sheet as well.

For his efforts, Johnson has been named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week.

It's the first SBC Player of the Week honor for Johnson, a junior out of University Lab, who transferred from Saint Louis to Louisiana in 2018.

Johnson and the Ragin' Cajuns return to action Thursday at UT Arlington. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., with pregame beginning a 6:30 on ESPN1420, ESPN1420.com and the ESPN1420 app.
