New Orleans Saints secondary coach Dennis Allen is expected to interview for the vacant defensive coordinator positions with the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles, over the weekend. Mike Triplett, of the Times-Picayune, has the story, below.

Whether or not New Orleans Saints secondary coach Dennis Allen leaves for a defensive coordinator gig in the coming days, Saints Coach Sean Payton said he expects him to move up the coaching ranks in the near future.

"It's a small league, and there aren't many secrets. His reputation has grown, and the word has gotten around. You can see it on film," Payton said. "He's extremely talented, and another thing about him, he's an extremely hard-working guy. He's a guy that's gonna have more of these opportunities down the line (if he isn't hired this time around)."
