  • St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan. Built in 1772

  • Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 630 Jackson St., Alexandria. Built in 1977.
  • St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, 908 Rutherford St., Shreveport. Built in 1839, with the current building opening in 1954
  • St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 133 S Main St.,St. Martinville. Built in 1840. One of the oldest Catholic churches in America
  • St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Cathedral, 626 4th St., Alexandria. Built in 1897.
  • St. Philomena Catholic Church, 108 Brule Rd. Labadieville. Built in 1888
  • Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 935 Bilbo St., Lake Charles. Built in 1913
  • St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral, 412 North Street., Baton Rouge. Built in 1853
  • St. Louis Cathedral, 615 Pere Antoine Alley, New Orleans. Built in 1794, and one of the most famous churches in America.
  • St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 515 Cathedral St. Lafayette. Built in 1916
