Indiana was the preseason #1 team in college basketball and climbed back to the top spot the last four weeks.

But that spot could be in jeopardy now.

The #1 ranked Hoosiers fell to Minnesota 77-73 in Minneapolis Tuesday night.  Trevor Mbakwe had 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Golden Gophers (19-9, 7-8 Big Ten) to the victory.

The Gophers were dominant on the boards, outrebounding Indiana 45-30.

Indiana led at halftime, 34-30.

The Hoosiers (21-4, 12-3), still hold a one game lead in the Big Ten over Michigan State, Wisconsin and Michigan, each of whom has four losses.
