It's looking like a pretty good day, but a suspect evening, weather-wise, in Lafayette on Saturday, as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns get set to take on the ULM Warhawks in a huge Sun Belt Conference game.

The forecast is for mostly clear skies for most of the day, but then, unfortunately, there will be a chance of rain, beginning right around kickoff time, and then increasing throughout the night for the 2019 regular-season finale for both schools.

It is expected to be warm, with an afternoon high of right at 80 degrees before falling into the lower 70's later at kickoff time.

The temperature should be in the upper 60's for tailgating in the early morning, before warming up to the lower 70's before 10 am, to near 80 in the afternoon, and then right about 75 degrees at the scheduled 6:30 pm kickoff time.

Expect the temperature to fall a little in the second half, into the lower 70's.

The rain may be an issue, especially in the second half.

There is a 20% chance of rain in the forecast for much of the day, but that increases to 40% at kickoff time, and to a 50% chance of rain after 7 pm.

Louisiana, who has won nine of their last ten games, is currently 10-2 on the season, including a 6-1 Sun Belt Conference mark, while ULM will enter at 5-6, and 4-3 respectively.

UL has already clinched the Sun Belt Conference West Division and will play in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game for the second-straight year next week when they travel to Boone, North Carolina to meet the 25th-ranked Appalachian St. Mountaineers.

The Cajuns need one more win to finish with the first 10-win season in program history.

ULM needs a win to become bowl-eligible.
