UL Olympic Great Hollis Conway is Dad to New Miss Louisiana

Olympic great Hollis Conway has returned to his alma mater UL Lafayette as the Assistant Director of Diversity, Leadership, & Education for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Department. But last weekend he became dad to our new Miss Louisiana, Holli' Conway!

Holli' was crowned Saturday night in the Miss Louisiana Pageant, and will go on to compete in the Miss America Pageant. She attended Northwestern State University and competed this year as Miss Heart of Pilot.Her parents Hollis and Charlotte, and sisters Tarvia and Angelique couldn't be more proud!

Dad won silver at the 1988 Olympic games in Seoul and bronze in 1992 at the Barcelona games. We are lucky to have him back in Lafayette where he began his spectacular track and field career.

The 2019 Miss America Competition airs live on ABC on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. CST.
