When Kevin Durant joined the Warriors, everybody busted out the old saying, "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." Well, the Golden State bandwagon just picked up another body.

David West is a 13-year NBA veteran, and at the age of 35, all he wants is an NBA Championship. West is headed to Golden State, to join potentially the most loaded roster in the history of the league.

Some players spend their entire career searching for trophies, and they never find one. West went to the Spurs because he thought he hand a shot at getting his hands on one, but when he saw the Durant news, something must have clicked in his head. With that roadblock in the Western Conference, West decided to join 'em instead of trying to beat 'em.

When guys like Timofey Mozgov are getting $64 million deals, it's almost crazy to think West signed for such a minimal fee. That's how much championships mean to players though, and that's how tantalizing this Warriors' experiment is to a guy who never won one before.

Will more players jump on the Warriors bandwagon? As long as Golden State can find money with the new inflated salary cap, you might have to keep room for more people to ride on the championship coattails.
