Dana White talks...a lot.

White also said just a few months ago that he was working on a deal to get Conor McGregor back in the octagon by the end of the year. He said that pretty much the same time McGregor said there was only one way he would come back, and that was if he were a co-promoter or owned a piece of the UFC. It's now toward the end of the year, and McGregor is not scheduled to appear at any UFC events.

That being said, this should probably be taken with a grain of salt, but White said that it's a possibility that Floyd Mayweather could join the UFC.

He brings up the Mayweather v McGregor fight, and how no one thought it would actually happen.

That's a great point. When it finally did happen, the outcome that everyone thought would happen happened. What everyone DIDN'T think would happen is McGregor lasting for almost ten rounds.

Here's what White had to say while talking to ESPN [Beware of NSFW language]:

“We’re talking to Floyd about doing a UFC deal. It’s real. He was talking about [boxing] Conor McGregor. Was that real? Have you heard Floyd talk about many things that aren’t real? He usually tips his hand when he’s in the media, and then that shit ends up happening.

“We’re interested in doing something with Floyd. Everything is a realistic possibility. Mayweather vs. McGregor fucking happened. Anything is possible.”

I just don't see it being a good idea. While Floyd has obviously mastered boxing, it just doesn't seem like he would be able to master several other martial arts like most of the other UFC fighters have.

Do you think it would be a good idea for Floyd to try to enter the UFC?
