Well look at this, the national media has finally had enough of Zion Williamson's nonsense. Today former Pelican and teammate of Williamson, JJ Redick called him out over his unprofessionalism shown this season on ESPN's First Take.
The Pelicans have reported that Zion will continue his rehabilitation away from the team. This will allow him to solely focus on getting better and "back" on the court. Zion also gave his first statement since media day.
Finally, we get an update from the Pelicans themselves on Zion Williamson and his foot; however, it is in the form of a tweet but I digress. Zion Williamson received a biological injection in his foot to stimulate the healing in his foot.
It was reported today that Zion Williamson suffered another setback. After experiencing consistent soreness, it was revealed that the bone in his foot began regressing and wasn't healing like it was supposed to. So in turn, they began to decrease his workload so his foot can heal correctly.
Zion has been seen around New Orleans, and I'm here to tell you HE ISN'T OVERWEIGHT. Zion has been seen around New Orleans at high school basketball games, AAU basketball games, and in local stores. From all the pictures that have been released, we can clearly see that Zion isn't overweight and even looks better than he did at media day.
